An Integrated, People-Centered Framework for the Virgin Islands
The WELL Initiative is the heart of my campaign—and my long-term commitment to real, measurable progress in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Built on four core pillars—Wellness, Education, Leadership, and Listening—WELL represents a bold, community-rooted approach to governance and development.
Public service must begin with people, respond to real needs, and deliver lasting impact.
What WELL Stands For:
Wellness
We’re committed to supporting every Virgin Islander’s mental, physical, and emotional health. Through:
- Community wellness workshops
- Mental health awareness campaigns
- Fitness initiatives
- Partnerships with local organizations
We will work to eliminate stigma, improve access, and normalize help-seeking—because strong communities begin with healthy individuals.
Education
Education should be lifelong, accessible, and aligned with opportunity. We will:
- Expand early literacy programs
- Support tech-enabled classrooms and digital learning
- Provide vocational training and apprenticeship pipelines
- Establish scholarship funds tied to economic growth sectors
By collaborating with ed-tech leaders and local businesses, we’ll create a thriving ecosystem of learning—for students and adults alike.
Leadership
We need ethical, effective leaders who are accountable to the people they serve. Our plan includes:
- Mentorship programs for youth and young adults
- Community-based leadership academies
- Hands-on service learning projects modeled after programs like the Youth Leadership Institute
This is about building a pipeline of values-driven changemakers who will lead with vision, integrity, and responsibility.
Listening
Leadership starts with listening—and acting on what we hear. We will center community voices in every phase of decision-making through:
- Town hall forums and listening sessions
- Digital platforms for real-time feedback
- Participatory budgeting pilot programs
- Transparent, two-way communication between residents and policymakers
Listening—it’s a governing principle.
Together, these four pillars form the WELL Initiative—a foundation for action that puts people first. From public health to education reform, leadership development to civic trust, the WELL Initiative is how we’ll build a stronger, smarter, and more just Virgin Islands.
WELL is the foundation of my public service — and the future of how we govern.
Our Three Core Initiatives
DMC | Dream. Mobilize. Connect.
A mentorship and empowerment program for boys and young men aged 8 and up in the Virgin Islands and beyond, teaching faith, integrity, economics, citizenship, and service. Structured in 2–4 year tracks, DMC empowers our next generation to lead by asking: “How can I help you to serve?”
Healing and Wellness Model
An informed, culturally rooted healing and wellness model rooted in Crucian wisdom, land connection, and community restoration. This initiative will strengthen schools, neighborhoods, and families through psychological and cultural healing.
Defend My Community (TBA)
Our third WELL Initiative program will launch soon, aimed at protecting and strengthening our neighborhoods, environment, and way of life.
